Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly evolving and increasingly widespread technology that significantly shapes the social, cultural, and political processes of our time. It is now evident that this transformation raises pressing ethical questions. An ethical approach to AI can serve as a crucial guide for regulation, which is becoming ever more important in this domain.

The SIpEIA 2026 Conference aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for discussing the ethical implications of AI, avoiding both alarmist perspectives and technological determinism. The primary goal of the conference is to promote a critical and constructive perspective that supports the development of intelligent technologies within a human-centered vision. This perspective aligns with SIpEIA’s mission to foster ethical and regulatory debate around AI.
