AI Ethics Appointment: “Urbino Ethics Charter: Principles in Action between University and Society”

On Saturday, January 24th, an online conference entirely dedicated to the ethics of artificial intelligence will take place. The event will cover criteria for guiding decisions regarding health, labor, and the environment, as well as the European and Italian regulatory frameworks and their operational impacts, featuring contributions from associations, trade unions, and professional organizations.

The conference is closely linked to the 2025 Summer School, where the “Urbino Ethics Charter” was introduced as a tool for shared responsibility between academia and civil society. In a move toward educational continuity, the 2026 Summer School on “Ethics, Bioethics, and Artificial Intelligence” has also been announced, to be held in Urbino from August 24th to 30th.

The event will be hosted online via the Webex platform (UniTo) from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (CET).
